Haley’s story is a common one. Many people with scoliosis have spines that while perfectly functional, aren’t quite normal. As a result, their spines don’t effortlessly deal with day to day demands that their lives, and especially their chair-centric lives create. Bottom line: folks with scoliosis are more prone to garden variety back pain. But Haley found that sitting actively improved everything, and allowed her sit pain free all day at work despite her scoliosis. We don’t know if active sitting will work for every scoliosis sufferer, but we hope it will be helpful to most.
